Tiare flower: more than a fragrance, a sun-care treatment for dry, curly hair
Partager
Synonymous with exoticism, gentleness, and warmth, the tiare is much more than just a flower. It evokes vacations, warm sand, natural skincare, and simple… yet powerful beauty rituals.
At Ikala Ngita, I chose to incorporate this iconic flower into my leave-in for its captivating scent and its natural hair benefits.
✨ One flower, a thousand memories
Native to the Pacific, the tiare (Gardenia taitensis) is traditionally used to scent coconut oil, giving birth to the iconic monoi.
Its fragrance is unmistakable: floral, sweet, warm, and sensual.
Even though the tiare is not native to Madagascar, it can now be found in certain tropical Malagasy gardens. Its sunny and sweet fragrance evokes memories of beaches, warmth… and perfectly complements the sensory world I wanted to create.
Its universal olfactory power makes it an immediate invitation to self-care and escapism.
💧 Tiare, a gentle ally for hair
Beyond its fragrance, tiare extract possesses precious cosmetic properties:
.Softens the hair fiber
.Nourishes dry or damaged hair
.Adds suppleness without weighing hair down
.Creates a comforting sensory experience
It is the enveloping touch of my leave-in, which beautifully complements the presence of ylang-ylang, which is spicier and more distinct.
🌿 A complete olfactory experience
In every Ikala Ngita product, sensoriality counts as much as naturalness.
I wanted the fragrance to not only be pleasant, but also driven by an intention: to soothe, to transport, to enhance.
The Tiaré & Ylang-Ylang duo is the meeting of two worlds:
.🌸 Tiare, sunny and universal
.🌼 Ylang-ylang, Malagasy roots and soul
