Ikala Ngita means "woman with kinky hair" in Malagasy.
The first two Ikala treatments are inspired by Madagascar, through the use of iconic plants such as ravintsara, ylang-ylang, and tiaré flower.
I chose these ingredients to honor my country of origin by integrating them into the heart of my first formulas.
Today, the range is expanding with TANJAKA, a nourishing & repairing mask enriched in particular with baobab oil, to offer a complete routine for textured hair.
The meaning of the names
DIO, inspired by the Malagasy word madio ("clean"), evokes a healthy, clean, and purified scalp.
OLY, inspired by the Malagasy word olioly ("curly"), refers to the natural texture of the hair.
TANJAKA means "strength" in Malagasy. It symbolizes nourished, strengthened, and more resistant hair.
The Ikala routine
DIO – Gentle purifying shampoo
With ravintsara and ylang-ylang, it delicately cleanses the scalp and lengths without drying out the hair fiber.
OLY – Moisturizing leave-in
With ylang-ylang and tiaré flower, it moisturizes, facilitates styling, and helps preserve hair softness, without a greasy effect.

TANJAKA – Nourishing & repairing mask
Enriched in particular with baobab oil, it intensely nourishes, helps repair dry and weakened hair, and restores softness, suppleness, and radiance to the hair fiber.
Together, Dio, Oly, and Tanjaka support wavy, curly, coily, and kinky hair at every step of their routine: cleansing, nourishing, and moisturizing lastingly, while respecting their nature.
